I graduated from Tates Creek High School in Lexington, Kentucky, then went on to Transylvania University.  I earned my Bachelors of Health Science in Communication Disorders and Masters in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Kentucky.  I am licensed by the Kentucky Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, hold National Certification of Clinical Competence with the American Speech Language Hearing Association along with being teacher certified in Communication Disorders.  I am a member of the Kentucky Speech Language Hearing Association, as well as the American Speech Language Hearing Association.

I have over 18 years experience as a speech language pathologist.  I have had the pleasure of working in a variety of settings, including schools, nursing homes and home health. Currently, in addition to working in the school, I also provide early intervention services in the home with the birth-3 year old population through Kentucky's First Steps program.

My family is one of my greatest blessings.  My husband coaches baseball at the University of the Cumberlands and we are the proud parents of two teenage sons, who enjoy sports and the outdoors.   We attend Main Street Baptist Church in Williamsburg and are thankful for our church family there.
