Master of Arts, School Guidance Counselor

Univeristy of the Cumberlands, 2015

Bachelors of Science, Elementary Education

University of the Cumberlands, 2012

During my undergraduate studies, I was able to complete my student teaching at Williamsburg Independent in fall of 2011. As the culmination to my Masters degree, I had the chance to complete my internship for School Counseling with Mrs. Jones.

Prior to beginning work at Williamsburg, I spent five years working as a Residence Hall Director for University of the Cumberlands. I also had the opportunity to spend three years as a course instructor for the Intensive English Program. Through these courses, I was able to work with students from Brazil, Russia, Portugal, Uzbekistan, Spain, China and Japan.

This is my second year teaching 6th grade Language Arts at Williamsburg. I also have the privilage of coaching the WHS Cheerleaders.

I was born and raised in Louisville, KY (Go Cards!). In 2007 I graduated from Pleasure Ridge Park High School and moved to Williamsburg to attend University of the Cumberlands. I spent eight, wonderful years at UC as a student and staff member. While at UC I met my husband, Nathaniel. My husband and I were married in December of 2012 and we have one child, Hudson.
