Williamsburg High School Cross Country Concludes Outstanding Season with Personal Records and State Championship Advances

Monticello, October 26, 2024 – The Williamsburg High School Cross Country team has wrapped up an exceptional season, marked by numerous personal records and outstanding performances. This year, the athletes showcased remarkable growth and grit, demonstrating their dedication to the sport.

Tatum Croley delivered an impressive performance at the KHSAA Region 6 Championship, finishing in 4th place and leading the girls' team to a 5th place overall finish. Croley's determination and hard work throughout the season have been evident, and her achievement at the regional level has earned her a spot in the upcoming KHSAA Cross Country State Championship.

Zaden Housekeeper also shone brightly, finishing 10th at the same championship, contributing to the boys' team's overall 7th place finish. Housekeeper's consistent performances throughout the season have set a strong example for his teammates and highlighted his potential for future competitions.

Coach Misty Croley expressed pride in the team's accomplishments, stating, “This season has been a testament to the hard work and resilience of our athletes. Tatum and Zaden have exemplified what it means to push through challenges and compete with passion. We are excited to see them represent Williamsburg at the state championship.”
