December 5th, 2025 will be NTI Day #2 for Williamsburg. Students should complete Day 2 of their NTI assignments and return the first day we return to school. Be safe and have a great weekend.

Jacket Family, this is a friendly reminder that Friday, November 14th, is a staff work day for Williamsburg City School. There will be no school for students.

Due to black ice, frozen bridges throughout our area, and in the interest of student and staff safety,
Williamsburg Independent Schools will implement Non-Traditional Instructional (NTI) Day #1 on November 11, 2025.

Students should complete assignments provided by their teachers through Google Classroom or paper packets previously distributed. Staff will be available during regular school hours to assist with any questions. Coaches will communicate with athletes regarding practices, scheduled games, etc.

Due to the uncertainty of the weather, tomorrow's Veterans Day activities have been rescheduled for Thursday, November 13th.

Due to the predicted winter weather, Williamsburg Independent Schools will dismiss preschool at 11:00 am and all other grades will be dismissed at 12:00pm.

This will not be an NTI Day and will not require a make-up day. Coaches will communicate with families regarding practices, etc. Games scheduled for this evening are cancelled.

Attention Jacket Family: We have several important announcements from Mrs. Housekeeper.
School will be in session tomorrow! Although it is Election Day, our school will not be used for voting.
The Jacket Family will be honoring Veterans Day on November 11th, 2025. If you are a Veteran, please join us for a special breakfast at 8 am. This will be followed by a celebration in the school gymnasium at 9 am. Please take a look at the flyer below for more details.
Students will not attend school on Friday, November 14th. This day will be a mandatory work day for all staff members.

Hey, Jacket Family! A few days ago, a note was sent out from Mrs. Housekeeper. That note included an invitation to complete a Comprehensive Needs Assessment Survey. The results of this survey will help us plan for the future of our district based on the needs of our students and families. There will also be computers set up to complete the survey at our Halloween Bash on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Be sure to join us at Halloween Bash 2025! This year we are adding a haunted hallway for 6th-12th grade students. Please remember to park in school parking lots or the gravel parking lot. The church has an event that night and we are not able to use their parking lot.
